Hands love...Hands give...Hands create...
We have so much power in our hands...through hands we express our love, pray, give back and help others, write and create works of art, great meals, great fashion, and ofcourse great furniture and architecture. If you think about it...everything on earth is either cared for or created by our hands.
As I traveled the globe this year I saw people who have the skill to take a piece of wood and create a beautiful sculpture out of it with the skill of their hands...I have prayed with people and held their hands across the world...I have studied and been moved by amazing architectural detail and art that was all created by the power and talent that lies in someones hands. I have eaten homecooked meals prepared with love and served with a smile created by skilled loving hands.
In my opinion the term "hand crafted" means made with LOVE.
It has been 6 months since I have sat down and had the time to write a new blog entry. It is my hope when I write this blog that it inspires you to live a life surrounded by beauty and wows you with things that I find or experience. With this particular entry...I hope to inspire you to do something with your hands that makes a difference for you or someone else...don't be afraid to show your love, put down a bad habit, try to make someting new, pick up weights instead of bad food, give someone a high five, pick up a new book, write to a friend, or just sit down and pray. The power of your life is in your hands...anything is possible!
